I'm a socialist

I have tried to start a computer repair business many times and i always end up failing miserably. I finally have realized why. First of all, i am a terrible businessman, second, i hate taking peoples money, and always under charge my customers. This may sound odd, but many times i am perfectly fine with accepting a thank you as payment.

I guess this means i'm a socialist, and the more i think about it i find it fitting. I like helping people out just for the sake of helping people out, and expect others to do so. It just seems like common sense to me. Why there is such a negative stigma associated with socialism i don't really understand. If everybody would contribute to the community we would all be better off.

Socialism is where the government owns all the businesses, and manages the exchange of services and products. In effect, the government would order you to help someone with their computer without pay, but would also be in charge of giving you food in exchange for it.

You doing it voluntarily is entirely different. You're closer to consecration than socialism at that point, I would think.
